This ship has a tremendous amount of outdoor seating options, and it makes the ship more enjoyable. Carnival Celebration staterooms (a total of 2641 passenger cabins) are divided into 22 different categories, including 2-deck apartments (duplex suites) and 80 wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers). All cabin bathrooms feature CCL fleet's first glass-door showers and in-shower shaving bar. Over 70% of all staterooms are outside, 300 pairs are connecting/family cabins. Other kids-geared fun can be found at Circle C, the space on Deck 17 designed for preteens, ages 12 to 14, and Club O2, also on Deck 17, but designed for older teens, ages 15 to 17, in mind. There’s also Camp Ocean on Deck 4, for kids ages 2 to 11; this area is also where you’ll find after-hours babysitting services offered.

The shows here are good -- so good that the entire area turns into a huge bottleneck traffic jam central whenever a performance is ongoing. The other problem here are the sight lines, which are not so great if you are not in the main seating area of the Deck 6 level or right by one of the glass balconies on Decks 7 and 8. To get a good seat here for the big shows, it is recommended to arrive between 45 minutes and an hour early, which can be a challenge to plan around a leisurely dinner or drinks at a favorite bar. We sampled a few of Celebration's specialty restaurants, and they also impressed. Rudi's Seagrill delivered an enormous cioppino and a Dover sole that was soft and moist. Emeril's Bistro 1397 wowed my husband with a flavorful ceviche, while I enjoyed hot-from-the-oven beignets. Twice to try both its Asian and Mexican specialties.

One of the most significant issues aboard Carnival Celebration is all the excellent and complimentary food offerings. You won’t go hungry aboard this ship; we found everything delicious. After 300 plus cruises, I can attest that the wifi on board Carnival Celebration is by far the best I’ve ever experienced on any ship and that even includes Princess’ Medallion Class.
